Summer Chaos & New Craft Icon Acrylic Stitching Templates
There’s just something special about getting a room full of scrapbookers together for a weekend. The Summer Chaos Club Retreat was exactly what I hoped it would be—and maybe a little chaotic in the best possible way. There was plenty of laughter, lots of creativity, tables covered in paper and supplies, and, most importantly, time spent with friends who understand why spending an entire weekend scrapbooking sounds like a fantastic idea.
From the first arrivals to the last projects packed away, the weekend was filled with creativity and connection. These retreats are about so much more than getting projects finished. They’re about the conversations across the tables, the laughter that seems to get louder as the weekend goes on, sharing ideas and supplies, helping each other solve a tricky project, and making memories along the way.
I love creating these spaces where scrapbookers can step away from everyday life for a little while and simply enjoy being creative. And, of course, a Chaos Club Retreat wouldn’t be complete without a little chaos!

While I was busy with retreat season, I’ve also been working on some new tools for Craft Icon Studio Tools. The newest release is all about paper stitching!

And yes, there are multiple templates because apparently I have decided that one paper stitching template was not enough thanks to my fabulous friend, Tiffany, who graciously allowed me to take photos of her amazing paper stitching! 💜
A Little Branding Update
You may also start noticing something new on my products. Going forward, all of my chipboard and acrylic products will carry the Craft Icon name and branding.
Craft Icon is becoming the product brand for my studio tools, chipboard, acrylic tools, wooden pieces, and other foundational products. The goal is to make it easier to recognize these products as part of the same collection, whether you’re shopping for a new acrylic template or looking for chipboard pieces to add to your next project.
But before anyone panics...The website is NOT changing again! 😂
You will still find everything right here at Chaos & Kristine Designs. The business isn't changing—I'm simply giving the product side of things its own recognizable identity.
So if you see the Craft Icon name on your chipboard or acrylic products, you’ll know exactly where it came from.

The Summer Chaos Club Retreat may be over, but the Fall retreat is right around the corner! We would love to have you join us for the weekend in Pittsburgh on October 23-25, 2026.
