Create your own decorated wooden book box made from MDF. The box is designed to be decorated with your favorite patterned papers, paint, embellishments, or other creative touches.

The book box is made from 1/8" MDF and includes 5 individual pieces. The pieces are cut to fit together and you may need to use a rubber mallet to assemble. The fit is tight enough for the pieces to stay together on their own, but wood glue is recommended for a more secure assembly.

Because the pieces are laser cut, you may see some charring on the surface and edges. This can be left as is or lightly sanded with sandpaper before decorating. The MDF can also be painted without sanding.

The photo shows an example of what the finished book box can look like once decorated. Papers, embellishments, and other decorative elements are not included. This book box does not include a closure.
